Izzy Weis. Fine Artist.
Professional info
Through completion of art qualifications I have had the opportunity to experiment with a wide variety of processes, this has allowed me to fully explore myself as an artist and develop my knowledge and skills. I have worked with many processes including painting, print making, sculpture, casting, film and photography. Undertaking an A Level in photography introduced me to film photography and darkroom techniques such as photograms, as well as teaching me digital photography and editing skills. I have combined my artistic flare and painting techniques with darkroom chemicals to create chemigrams – a mix of painting and photography. At the end of both my foundation and ‘top up’ degree I have been able to present my work professionally in an exhibition, through this I gained valuable experience in prepping an exhibition space and consideration of how work show be presented.
